Dear BWAF Philly 2010 Vendors:
Greetings!
This is the fee for confirmed vendors of Philadelphia's 7th Annual Black Women's Arts Festival. The 4-day Festival is scheduled for Thursday, July 29th through Sunday, August 1st, 2010, and vending will take place on 3 days only: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Here is the vending schedule:
Friday July 30, 2010 from 4:00PM - 11:00PM (Set up at 3:00PM)
Saturday July 31, 2010 from 6:00PM - 10:00PM (Set up at 5:00PM)
Sunday August 1, 2010 from 4:00PM - 10:00PM (Set up at 3:00PM)
Vendors paid a small fee to submit their application for consideration. Upon acceptance into the Festival, there is this small additional fee to register to vend. We can supply you with tables and chairs, but please bring your own if you have them, so that we can offer these to vendors who don't have tables and chairs.
The registration fee is unusually small for several reasons, including the challenging economy and the fact that vendors were contacted later than usual - without giving them the usual 6 months or more to advertise this upcoming event.
Upon the completion of each day's event, if sales are satisfactory to you, we ask that you donate a suggested 20% of your sales to the Black Women's Arts Festival.
